How To Use Our App

How do I install the app?
Our app works as a Web App. No need of installation via the app stores. All you need to do is navigate to app.pocketlibraries.org and add the icon to your homescreen! That’s it!
Android: On the browser menu button, tap Add to Home Screen
iOS: Tap Share, then Add to Home Screen (on Safari or Chrome)

How do I log-in to my account?
The first time you want to log-in, or if you ever forget your passcode, tap on Request Passcode. Fill in your email, and we’ll send you your 4 digit passcode to your email address
The email address needs to match exactly what you signed up with. If you have any issues logging in, get in touch and we’ll help you sort it out
How do I browse the catalogue?
Tap the catalogue button at the bottom from any screen on the app, or navigate to app.pocketlibraries.org/catalogue
From here, you’ll be able to see all the books we have, what libraries they’re at, what’s checked out and reserved, as well as place your own reservations
How do I reserve a book?
Open up any book in the catalogue and if you’re logged in, you’ll see a Reserve this Book button at the bottom.
Once the book is available, we’ll send you a notification!
Books that are already reserved show up, so we’ll add you to the queue
What else can I do on the app?
You can see your current check-outs (and when they’re due), your check-out history (and add ratings) and your membership details
You can also keep up with other library related things - RSVP for events, browse our merch store, and keep up with everything Pocket Libraries!
